Responsibility: The Civic Committee ensured that the roads were clean before daybreak. Part-time female staff start early, sweeping the roads from one end to the other, followed by full-time male staff who collect garbage and transport it to the City Corporation's dumping ground on Suhrawardy Road. Supervisors oversee clean roads and walkways so residents can begin their day pleasantly. Another team handles kitchen waste collection from every residential building. You’ll often see green vans and staff working throughout the area. To ensure regular drain cleaning, the committee has increased staff capacity. Gardeners tend to roadside gardens, ensuring an aesthetically pleasant environment. The committee, in collaboration with the City Corporation and other sub-committees, has undertaken joint activities such as lake cleaning.
