Welcome to Baridhara Society, a vibrant and dynamic community where togetherness, security, and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. As the resident’s association of Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Baridhara Society is deeply committed to fostering an environment where all residents can live peacefully, securely, and in harmony with nature. Registered under The Societies Registration Act of 1860, our society has grown into a model of modern community living, built on values of transparency, accountability, and collaboration which reflects harmony, sustainability, and growth.

Our mission is simple yet profound: To create a neighborhood that is more livable, secure, and green for all. We believe that the essence of a thriving community lies in the balance between modern amenities and environmental stewardship. With this in mind, Baridhara Society works tirelessly to ensure that the area remains a sanctuary of calm amidst the bustling energy of Dhaka. Residents are provided with a high level of security and comfort, backed by a robust infrastructure and community-centered services that cater to every need.

At Baridhara, our vision is to create a neighborhood that not only thrives in terms of infrastructure but also builds strong bonds among its residents. We believe that a truly livable neighborhood is one that prioritizes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every individual. Our mission is to ensure that residents feel safe, secure, and supported, while also fostering a sense of pride and ownership in maintaining the area’s natural beauty and cleanliness.

The Executive Committee of Baridhara Society, led by the President, comprises 19 dedicated members who work voluntarily to oversee the management of the society. Through various sub-committees, we take care of everything from civic amenities, security, environmental protection, and senior citizen welfare, to organizing cultural events and engaging the youth in meaningful activities. These sub-committees are not just about ensuring the smooth running of operations, but about creating a strong sense of community, where everyone has a role to play in improving the quality of life for all.

With an office staffed by full-time professionals, Baridhara Society ensures that daily management tasks, billing, membership updates, and other essential functions are efficiently handled. However, the heart of the society lies in the voluntary contributions made by its members. The sub-committees work on a wide range of areas, including road sweeping, drainage control, mosquito control, household garbage collection, and the upkeep of Baridhara’s roadside gardens. Our parks, such as the ones on Road #8 and by the lakeside, are managed to ensure they serve as spaces of recreation, fitness, and relaxation for all residents.

One of our key focuses is on youth engagement. We believe that the energy and creativity of the younger generation are invaluable to the progress of our community. Our Youth Engagement and Development Sub-Committee is committed to organizing sports events, tournaments, and other recreational activities, like football and badminton tournaments, to keep the youth engaged in positive, healthy pursuits. Additionally, we continuously work to enhance sports facilities within Baridhara, offering the next generation the opportunity to contribute and grow within a supportive environment.

Sports and recreational activities are not just about fitness; they are a means of building teamwork, discipline, and a sense of belonging. At Baridhara Society, we believe that these initiatives help shape the future of our community, bringing people together and fostering lasting relationships. Our parks, such as the ones on Road #8 and the lakeside, serve as multi-functional spaces where families can gather, children can play, and neighbors can connect.

Well-being and togetherness are central to our identity. Baridhara Society is also a hub of cultural activities, with regular events bringing the community together. A dedicated Cultural Affairs Sub-Committee organizes programs that foster engagement, creativity, and social bonding. We organize events that bring residents together, celebrate diversity, and create a sense of belonging. From cultural festivals to charity drives, we ensure that Baridhara is not just a place to live but a place to thrive as part of a connected, compassionate community.

There’s something for everyone here – whether it’s for senior citizens, for whom special facilities and events are curated, or the youth, who are encouraged to actively participate in various sports and volunteer programs.

Our commitment to security and cleanliness is unwavering. Baridhara Society works closely with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), and RAJUK to maintain a safe, clean, and green environment for all residents. Our Security Sub-Committee ensures that our entry gates are manned effectively, our parks are secure, and that we remain vigilant in keeping Baridhara a safe haven within the city.

With modern challenges in mind, we are actively digitizing our processes. The Digitalization & IT Sub-Committee oversees initiatives that allow residents to access services conveniently through mobile apps and digital platforms, improving efficiency and security. From biometric entry systems to online billing and membership management, we are dedicated to providing innovative solutions that make daily life easier for everyone. We make sure that technology enhances our services and strengthens our security.
