Regular patrols, specialized training, and CCTV monitoring ensure security at all entry and exit points, which are equipped with fiber optic lines. The committee handles security complaints and enforces stricter vigilance, especially for construction sites, controlling noise and vehicle movement at night. Rising commercial activity in the area brings new challenges, impacting the residential nature and increasing traffic. A 24/7 call center allows residents to report incidents or emergencies, with CCTV monitored continuously, including the Lake Side Park. Resident cooperation in enforcing ID systems and discouraging commercial rentals is essential for maintaining community safety. The Phita Utshob is a hallmark event in Baridhara Society’s calendar, bringing together families and fostering community spirit. Though the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted its traditional format, the event was still successfully adapted with great enthusiasm. Members enjoyed a variety of traditional Phitha, showcasing the dedication of the organizing committee. A notable highlight was the attendance of the Mayor of Dhaka City North, adding prestige to the celebration. The committee worked tirelessly to ensure that the event, while scaled down, retained its essence, and their efforts were widely appreciated. The camaraderie and joy experienced by participants reflected the enduring significance of this event. The Civic Committee ensured that the roads were clean before daybreak. Part-time female staff start early, sweeping the roads from one end to the other, followed by full-time male staff who collect garbage and transport it to the City Corporation's dumping ground on Suhrawardy Road. Supervisors oversee clean roads and walkways so residents can begin their day pleasantly. Another team handles kitchen waste collection from every residential building. You’ll often see green vans and staff working throughout the area. To ensure regular drain cleaning, the committee has increased staff capacity. Gardeners tend to roadside gardens, ensuring an aesthetically pleasant environment. The Sub-committee along have wholeheartedly, taken the initiative of making the park look astounding, through plantation of beautiful flower plants and creation of other innovative features. Moreover, several cultural events celebrating namely, Pitha Utshab, Victory Day, Independence Day, are being held at the park, highlighting a scenic and glorious view of the environment, to a notable extent. It is also worth mentioning that, this park is playground for children of all ages. Our commitment to modernization has resulted in the successful digitalization of office activities, specifically managing memberships and Billing for Monthly Service Charges. This Sub-committee has also supported the Security Sub-committee to bring the Entry/Exit Gates and Parks of Baridhara under central CCTV surveillance. We have automated the Accounting System, Introduced HRMIS, ERP. It launched the revamped website with mobile application for self service to Update and View information, Billing status, raise queries and complains. The Committee is also working on the Payment Automation and Payment Gateway.
